On March 25, 2025, the Science Based Targets Network (SBTN) hosted a launch webinar for its first ocean science-based targets.
The new ocean targets provide a rigorous tool for companies with seafood in their supply chains to address their impacts on nature and biodiversity. By setting targets and taking action accordingly, companies can help support healthy, resilient marine and coastal ecosystems.
Watch the video below to hear from SBTN Technical Director Varsha Vijay and Ocean Hub Leads Alice Thomas-Smyth and Taylor Witkin about the new technical guidance and how companies can get involved. Find additional resources – including slides and Q&A responses – below the video.
