Rei Sato uses his knowledge of hydrology to assist companies with water security. He has supported companies in analyzing their current situation, developing strategies to solve problems and disclosing information on nature-related issues such as water resources, climate change and biodiversity. In particular, he has extensive experience in assessing risks related to freshwater and biodiversity using the tools used in the SBTN Guidance and setting targets based on the results of these assessments. He has also supported companies in the SBTN initial target validation pilot and has knowledge of the freshwater and land target-setting process.
