Nature Positive Staff have been involved in the cutting edge of business and biodiversity for 25 years from the very first NGO-private sector partnerships through development of Mitigation Hierarchy, Net Positive Impact and offsetting approaches, as well as playing a leading role in the technical development of Financial Institutions (IFC etc) Biodiversity Safeguards, the Natural Capital Protocol and more recently SBTN & TNFD. One of Nature Positive’s Directors was a contributing author of the SBTN Initial Guidance for Business and we have been experimenting in applying the evolving SBTN guidance since then. We have contributed to the development of TNFD Guidance. On the team we have global experts in biodiversity impacts assessment, supply-chain analysis, compensation and restoration targets setting, and GIS data analysis including many of the tools suggested by SBTN.
