The world is not on track for meeting its biodiversity targets at the global level, despite government commitments. To achieve the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity 2050 Vision, we must make better progress by 2030 and we need specific targets to get there.
What the hub is working on
The biodiversity hub is developing methods for setting science-based targets for species and ecosystems. These methods are quantitative, measurable and scalable across species, threats and geographies. They can be easily broken down for use by companies, cities, and countries.
How to get involved
The methods are currently being beta-tested. The hub is looking for companies who are interested in further pilot testing.
