New York Climate Week (NYCW) is taking place between September 21-28, at various locations throughout the city. Themed “Power On,” this year’s Climate Week will be a critical global moment for leaders across sectors to come together and reaffirm action for climate and nature.  

The Science Based Targets Network will be participating in New York Climate Week, demonstrating momentum around the leading target-setting approach for corporate action on nature.

SBTN uniquely equips companies to take validated, science-based action for nature; defining what’s enough, where to act, and by when.

This multi-format session will spotlight insights from first-mover companies on why they stepped up, how target-setting is supporting their business objectives, and what others can do to get started. From boardroom buy-in to supply chain action, the session offers practical guidance to help more companies take credible steps for nature, today.

Leadership Dinner with SBTN & Baringa

SBTN & Baringa are co-hosting a private dinner for a small group of cross-sector C-suite executives to exchange insights on how business can lead at the climate–nature nexus through science-based action.  The evening will feature reflections from peers who have set science-based targets for nature and a candid discussion on how companies can move faster, integrate climate and nature strategies, and demonstrate credible leadership.

Accelerating Business Action at the Climate-Nature Nexus

Join an intimate, peer-to-peer roundtable discussion hosted by the UN Global Compact with SBTi and SBTN. Leading companies that have set both climate and nature targets will share their experiences, the value they’ve gained, and lessons learned along the way. This interactive conversation will highlight the importance of connecting climate and nature strategies, and invite participants to exchange insights on how integrated target-setting can drive stronger, more resilient business action for people and planet. This session assumes a working knowledge of science-based targets to ensure a robust peer-to-peer exchange.
