Germany
Regional Accelerator
The SBTN Accelerator in Germany is jointly led by the Global Nature Fund (GNF) and One Planet Business – by WWF. The initiative kicks off in June 2026 and is currently planned to run through the end of 2026, consisting of six workshops (one per month).
The main goal is to support companies in setting and validating science-based targets for nature. The accelerator provides practical guidance on applying the SBTN methodology, helping participating companies understand their key environmental impacts, dependencies, and risks and develop robust targets and implementation plans.
Key activities include in-person and virtual workshops, technical guidance, peer learning opportunities, and hands-on support from WWF & GNF.
The program brings together 10-15 companies from different sectors, primarily based in Germany, alongside experts from WWF and GNF. It is aimed at companies committed to advancing their nature strategies and meeting ESG and CSRD requirements.
